Virgil's Aeneid Question about Aeneas?

I have to write an essay for the book The Aenied by Virgil. It is about comparing the public and private Aeneas. For example, the public Aeneas had to follow his fate to find Rome and leave Dido, even though the private Aeneas really personally wanted to stay with Dido longer. Can you help me come up with any other examples of private/personal Aeneas or help me develop my essay more? Thanks so much!
