What is the longest period of time a mom should be away from her children?

That's not a long time. He isn't that young anymore, i mean, even 17 year olds get homesick, but 2 weeks is fine, a month, give or take, would be way too much, so let him be independent for this time, he even has activitys to do, and he will be with lots of other people, i think he is fine. Oh, and can you guys check out my question too.
